ALARM CLOCK

WORKFLOW GBS considers a workflow process as ‘outstanding’ when it breaches the rules defined through the ‘Trigger Point’ settings. AlarmClock is a background process working around the clock to highlight such outstanding processes.
The ‘Trigger Point’ setting, usually applied to critical processes, can be established by both individual and groups of users, each with different rules/parameters for more effective monitoring. As it picks up outstanding workflow processes, AlarmClock will also accumulate them into a ‘To Do List’ that can be generated as an online, real-time list that can also be saved for a later date. This ensures oversights in outstanding workflow processes due for execution are both minimised and contained.
Apart from user-definable critical workflow processes, the AlarmClock also identifies and picks up other important activities like incoming mail and Keep-In-View cases that matches standard system-defined conditions.

On The Web is the Web-based version of WORKFLOW GBS. It was developed in response to an increased demand for a more flexible platform in accessing WORKFLOW GBS.
On The Web is developed through the Visual Studio suite of products from Microsoft Corporation with object-oriented programming (OOP). It aids in functions like data entry, individual transaction processing, and inquiring, making these much easier to accomplish. These functions can also be carried out on the Windows-based platform with the other functions such as system administration, setting up workflow and document templates, and batch processing.
On The Web is equipped with intuitive screen navigation and easy-to-use graphical user interfaces. Its internet-enabled capability allows remote users from branch offices, business associates, and other authorized parties to access WORKFLOW GBS, anytime and anywhere.
The connection (of secure information exchange) between the remote users and the server can be established via an industry-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and/or with a VPN (Virtual Private Network) setup.
POSTMAN
Aside from enhancing operational efficiency, WORKFLOW GBS also provides a facility for corporations to exchange business information online with business associates, customers, and other authorised parties outside of the corporation to achieve greater overall efficiency. The Multiple Collaborators Per Case Design allows a business transaction record [Case] to be worked on by other parties, otherwise known as collaborators. Collaborators can be from within the same corporation or external. Information such as business data, emails, and attachments pertaining to a Case can be exchanged between the originator and Collaborators so that all parties have the latest information and a full picture.
Postman supports secure connections on a many-to-many basis through standard communication protocols; either via point-to-point dial-up or leased lines and internet communication.
With Postman, external Collaborators can utilize other third-party applications to establish online communication with your corporation [or originator of a Case]. Additionally, all parties can achieve seamless integration with the strength of other products from WORKFLOW GBS that best suit their requirements.
